Shana Ellis has been a strong supporter of TCH’s mission since the beginning of her career. She has attended TCH’s annual Monster Mash fundraiser, every year for the past seven years, and has always had a passion for TCH’s mission.
Ms. Ellis previously worked at Tempe Community Council, a supporter of TCH, for 20 years. She then served as a Councilmember with the City of Tempe for eight years, concurrently serving as Vice-Mayor from 2008 to 2010, and as an Administrator to Southwest Gas Corporation from 2010 to 2014. She assumed her current role at TCH in 2014.
Shana is a hard-working advocate for the people TCH serves and is a strong leader for her staff. Her creative solutions and passion for people with disabilities, stemming from growing up with a brother with a disability, is clear in everything she does. Shana has been recognized for her hard work and community service in many ways including being named the Phoenix Business Journal’s Most Admired Leader in 2015, receiving the Don Carlos Humanitarian Award in 2016, and many more.
