Our Funding

TCH operates annually by securing several different funding and contract sources. These include, but are not limited to:
State of Arizona, Department of Economic Security/Division of Developmental Disabilities and the State Rehabilitation Services Administration: These State agencies work on a fee for service contract that covers services to almost 80% of the men, women and children that TCH serves.
United States Government, Department of Defense: Fee for service contracts providing jobs for over 120 individuals with a disability
Commercial Contracts: These include contracts with various businesses throughout the State of Arizona as well as revenue generated from TCH’s social enterprise, Assured Security Document Destruction.
Private Pay and Insurance: Many individuals do not qualify for state or federal support; therefore, contract independently with TCH for needed services.
Contributions and grants: Philanthropic funding from corporations, foundations and individuals in the TCH community. Support may come in the form of cash, equipment and in-kind donations, endowments and more. Examples include Valley of the Sun United Way, Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, Thunderbirds Charities and many more.
